We traveled to Florida this past December. Me, Andy, Devon, Hannah and Mom. A family trip planned almost 6 months in advance! LOL We had the best time.
Arrived in Orlando on the 12th, late, plane trip was uneventful, just the time got messed up a little. Drove to my sister's in Daytona and then had pizza around mid night! And then it was bed time.
Hannah was so funny that first night. She slept with Andy and I and all night long she kept saying, "Mama, did you hear that? Mama, listen!" It was all those unfamiliar noises, like motorcycles, sirens etc. It was funny to listen to her, but not so funny at 3 am!
We stayed in Daytona for two nights and then headed towards the West Coast where we visited my aunt and uncle, had dinner with them and then moved on to Spring Hill. Visited Pine Island again. Visited Andy's brother Pete for a couple of days and then moved along to Cape Coral to Tim and Sally's! It's always great to visit them. They are very hospitable and Sally takes me to all the malls, outlets and Wal Mart!
While in Cape Coral we also visited Sanibel Island and Naples.
After five days of visiting Cape Coral we headed to Disney World where we stayed at the All Star Movie Resort and went to the Magic Kingdom!
Disney was pretty packed that day and Andy had a bum leg, but it was still a pretty good time!
After two nights at Disney, where they had a wonderfully heated pool, we returned to Daytona where we spent Christmas with Heather, had a great turkey dinner, compliments of Mom!
We also saw some AWESOME Christmas lights in Daytona. None like we had ever seen before!
It surely was a great family trip and on the 26th headed back home!
